Undoubtedly one of our prettiest native oxygenators, this attractive plant produces two types of leaves - submerged foliage with very finely cut feathery leaves, and then in late spring/early summer floating three-lobed leaves are produced as the plant flowers. When in flower and viewed from a distance the water looks like it's been dusted with snow. Very pretty. The foliage will die back for the summer after flowering, and will then re-grow again in late summer/autumn as temperatures cool.
We recommend starting your Ranunculus aquatilis off in a pot of 1 litre capacity. Read more on how to pot and care for your plant here.
