Sometimes mistakenly spelt 'Froebeli' or Frobeli', this is is a very popular lily which is hardy, adaptable and easy to grow. It produces numerous vivid wine-red cup-shaped flowers all summer long, which are set off by almost white sepals. It has a small leaf spread, growing and flowering well even in tubs, and will not take over the pond like many of the more common, large red lilies.
We recommend starting your Nymphaea 'Froebelii' off in a pot of 2 litres capacity. Read more on how to pot and care for your plant here.
