'James Brydon' is known as one of the most adaptable, hardy and easy-to-grow waterlilies. It grows well in any size of pond, be it a tub or a lake, and even thrives in partial shade where most lilies would fail. It is very free-flowering and the blooms are a beautiful shade of carmine red with a full peony shape. The leaves emerge a rich shade of burgundy, turning dark green with maturity. So good it was given the Award Of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society.
We recommend starting your Nymphaea 'James Brydon' off in a pot of 3 - 4 litres capacity. Read more on how to pot and care for your plant here.
