This is a very ornamental and rare miniature form of our native marsh marigold. It is found in the wild across some northern and western parts of the British Isles. It is ideal for small ponds and tubs, producing attractive small yellow flowers in early spring and neat mounds of shiny green heart-shaped leaves.
If designing a planting scheme, we recommend approximately 4 Caltha palustris var. radicans plants per square foot of ground, or 2 plants per linear foot of pond edge. Read more here on how to pot and care for your plant.
