The laevigata group of irises rarely exceed two feet in height and do not spread too vigorously. Iris laevigata is the natural wild form, having bright blue flowers with a cream splash in the centre of each petal, and green leaves.
If designing a planting scheme, we recommend approximately 1 Iris laevigata plant per square foot of ground or per linear foot of pond edge. Read more here on how to pot and care for your plant.
