A gorgeous little native plant with low-growing, finely-lobed green leaves and nodding flowers that start off orange-red and mature to a lovely peach. Clump-forming, easy to grow and has a long flowering period. Good for attracting bees - it especially attracts the small bumblebees here at the nursery. Dead head occasionally to keep the maximum number of new blooms coming.
If designing a planting scheme, we recommend approximately 4 Geum rivale plants per square foot of ground, or 2 - 3 plants per linear foot of pond edge. Read more here on how to pot and care for your marsh plant.
