‘Beuron’ is a very rare form of our native yellow flag iris - a real shame, as it is arguably the most magnificent variety available. Exceptionally free-flowering, it produces far more blooms per stem than typical Iris pseudacorus, with flowers held high above the foliage rather than hidden within it, as in some other forms. The blooms themselves are significantly larger, featuring notably broad falls (outer petals), and are complemented by the handsome, sword-shaped green leaves. Altogether, ‘Beuron’ creates an unmatched display in late spring to early summer.

Please note that all irises may cause skin irritation and are somewhat poisonous if eaten.

If designing a planting scheme, we recommend approximately 1 Iris pseudacorus 'Beuron' plant per square foot of ground or per linear foot of pond edge. Read more here on how to pot and care for your plant.
