'Marliacea Chromatella' is an old favourite among waterlilies. It produces very large, cup-shaped, pale lemon-yellow flowers all summer long, continuing until late in the season. It is very free-flowering and is one of the few lilies which will do well even in partial shade. The leaves are attractively splashed with purple blotches and will remain almost evergreen in a mild winter. Reliable, hardy, and always popular. So good it received the Award Of Garden Merit (AGM) from the Royal Horticultural Society.
